Shipping Policy

  • Most in stock orders will ship within 1 - 2 business day from our Los Angeles warehouse.
  • Some items may drop ship directly from the manufacturer and require additional lead time.
  • Shipping rates are calculated live by UPS determined by item weight and shipping distance.
  • Orders are shipped via the selected method of shipping during checkout (i.e. UPS Ground, 3Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air).
  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes or APO / FPO. Orders shipped to freight forwarders are subject to verification.
  • Some items, such as heavy equipment and saws, must be shipped via freight truck (please see Freight Truck Delivery policy below).
  • For large orders of material, it is often more cost effective to ship via freight truck than UPS Ground - Please contact us directly for a freight quote.

Free Shipping
  • Items that qualify for Free Shipping are indicated on the product page by
  • Free shipping only applies to the Contiguous U.S. Please contact us for shipping quotes to HI and AK.
  • Free Shipping items do not qualify for expedited shipping (see Expediting Free Shipping Items policy below).
  • Most Free Shipping items will ship via Fedex Ground or USPS.
  • In some cases, Free Shipping items may ship via freight truck if deemed appropriate (i.e. large orders of Laticrete SpectraLock).
  • Free shipping items with stonetooling.com icon must be shipped via freight truck.
  • We reserve the right to select method of shipping for all Free Shipping items including Fedex Ground, UPS Ground, USPS, and freight truck.

Expedited Orders
  • Expedited orders placed by 2:00 PM PST will ship same day as long as the product is in stock.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST will ship the following business day.
  • UPS does not delivery on Saturday or Sunday (i.e. in stock Next Day Air orders placed before 2:00pm PST Friday will arrive Monday).
  • Delivery is by end of business day.
  • Due to size, some items such as heavy saws, mixers, and equipment are not eligible for expedited shipping.

Expediting Free Shipping Items
  • Please contact us for an expedited shipping quote.
  • For expedited orders with both Free Shipping and non Free Shipping items, the Free Shipping items will not be expedited. Please contact us by phone to expedite the whole order.

Freight Truck Delivery

Items marked with a stonetooling.com icon must be shipped via freight truck to a commercial address with access to a loading dock or forklift.

Non-Commercial Delivery
  • There is a $75 fee for non-commercial delivery.
  • The freight company will call the customer to schedule a delivery appointment.
  • The customer must be there to receive and sign for the order at time of delivery (as arranged with the freight company). The customer will be charged for any additional storage fees, as billed by the freight company, if this appointment is not made or kept.


In-Store Pickup

In-Store Pickup is available to customers who are able to pickup their order at our North Hollywood, CA location. Customers who choose In-Store Pickup as their shipping method will waive any shipping costs and must bring the following items with them for the order to be released:

  • A government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the credit card used to make the purchase.
  • Either a digital or printed copy of your StoneTooling.com invoice.
  • Orders placed by 2:00 PM PST Monday - Friday may be picked up the same day.
  • Orders for Saturday pickup must be placed by 2:00 PM PST on Friday. Orders placed after 2:00 PM on Friday are available for pickup Monday.
  • We do not release orders to 3rd parties (such as drivers, workers, or couriers). The credit card holder must be present at time of pickup.


International Shipping

We are proud to announce that we offer international shipping worldwide. Our partnership with International Checkout allows customers to click on this button during the checkout process to pay with a credit card and have it shipped internationally.
  • The buyer is responsible for which products can be lawfully used in in their country. StoneTooling.com assumes no responsibility for product use once it has been shipped.
  • International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
  • Shipping is calculated by our partners at International Shipping based on product weight, size and distance. StoneTooling.com has no control over international shipping charges.

Out of Stock Items and Backorders
  • In the event an item is out of stock, insufficient quantity is available, or is on backorder from the manufacturer, the customer will be notified by email or phone and given an ETA.
  • When stock arrives to our warehouse, it will be shipped via the method selected during checkout.

Damages, DOA, and Missing Items
  • Claims must be filed with the shipping company upon receipt when there is physical damage to the exterior of the package.
  • Damaged or missing items that are not physically apparent upon delivery must be reported to us within 48 hours.
  • Power tools and saws that are DOA (Dead on Arrival) must be reported to us within 48 hours.
  • Pictures of damaged items may be requested.


Returns

We are happy to accept returns up to 30 days after delivery for most items (please see exception below for special order items).

  • All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) prior to being returned.
  • Returned items must be in new, unused condition and in original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless an error was made on our part. We do not provide return shipping labels.
  • Special Order Items / Products Made to Order (i.e. Aqua Mix Grout Colorants) are non-returnable or refundable.

Restocking Fee
  • All Free Shipping items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee helps to cover initial shipping costs associated with the order. Free Shipping items are indicated on the product page by:
  • There is no restocking fee for all other items (i.e. items where the customer paid for the shipping) with the exception of power tools and saws which are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Refunds
  • Refunds will be credited back to original credit card used.
  • The refund amount will be equal to cost of the item minus any applicable Restocking Fees.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for returned packages due to refusals or insufficient addresses are subject to 20% Restocking Fee and deduction of return shipping.
