NobleFlex® Drain Flashings provide a smooth transition of thin-set waterproofing sheet membrane to a clamping ring drain.

Features
  • • Ideal for NobleSeal thin-set (thin bed) waterproofing membranes (ANSI A118.10) or full mortar bed membranes when the drain is set too low
  • • Alternative to “integrated bonding flange” drains
  • • Easy to install
  • • Bond to membrane with NobleSealant 150

 

Instructions

1. Remove strainer, clamping ring, and retaining bolts.
2. Center tool on drain body.
3. Hold tool down firmly and pack mortar bed around tool.
4. Install sloped mortar from the tool to the perimeter of the shower.
5. Remove Tool.
* Note: To avoid mortar dropping into drain hole, mask finger holes on bottom of tool.*
