We carry a variety of circular and portable saws from some of the most popular manufacturers including Alpha, Gemini, Hitachi, Makita, and Skil. Not only do we carry general purpose circular saws, but we also have specialty circular saws for stone and masonry along small table-top saws, jig saws, and ring saws that are capable of the most intricate cuts.
Circular & Portable Saws
The Circular Saw is a portable and versatile saw that is popular on both the job site and in the home workshop. When paired with the appropriate blade for the job, these saws are capable of cutting wood, masonry, and tile. To choose the best Circular Saw for you, keep in mind what applications and material the saw will be used for, how often the saw is going to be used (such as throughout a workday), will you have access to power outlets, and whether performance and power or convenience and ease of use are more of a concern to you.
Worm-Drive Circular Saws have the blade located on the left, tend to be heavier, and have more torque than Sidewinders. Able to cut through wet lumber to concrete, these saws are ideal for the professional.
Sidewinder Circular Saws have the handle set higher over the blade with the blade traditionally located on the right side of the saw. These saws are lighter, less expensive, and spin faster than Worm-Drives, making them a good choice for the home workshop.
Table Top Tile Saws and Ring Saws are great for cutting natural stone such as marble and granite along with ceramic, porcelain, and glass tile. The Ring Saw is also ideal for cutting glass. It is a unique saw that combines the best qualities of a band saw and radial saw and can cut a radius, curve, or straight line.
